Timber Paling Fencing
Single Timber paling is ideal if you are looking to create your boundary of your outdoor space but could be in a windy place. The paling is fixed on to horizontal rails that connect to the fence posts to create a solid fencing system that is reliable and offers the appropriate privacy depending on the gaps between the palings from 25mm to 75mm spacings. The palings also come in a range of heights from 0.6m to 2.4m high and 2 standard thicknesses either 95 x 16mm or 100 x 22mm.
Double Paling Fencing
Double timber paling or “ Hit and Miss” Windproof fencing has a few advantages, the first is that the design allows wind to pass through the panels rather than blow against them like it would on most other styles, making it the perfect choice if you live in a particularly windy area.
The second advantage is they are double sided, which means it looks similar on both sides, great to be fitted in between properties where both sides of the fencing will be exposed.
The palings are usually from 95 x 16mm pales and we use a 90mm apex capping on top to finish it off and weather proof.
